These are the terms you agree to when you ask us for a quote, order a
building, or text with us. Yoder Storage Barns is a family-run Weather King
dealership (dealer #6851) based near Port Charlotte, Florida. Buildings are
manufactured by Weather King Portable Buildings and sold, delivered, and
serviced by us.
If anything here doesn’t match what somebody told you in person, ask
us. We’d rather sort it out before your building is built than after.
Quotes and Prices
- Prices shown on this website are a starting point for a standard
building. Options, upgrades, and delivery beyond our free zone are added
on top.
- Your written quote is the price. If a price on this
site and a price on your quote disagree, the quote is the one that
counts.
- Prices can change without notice. A quote we have sent you holds for
30 days unless it says otherwise on the quote itself.
- We can’t finish a quote without your delivery address —
delivery is priced by distance, so the address is part of the price.
Ordering and Deposits
- Nothing is in stock. Every building is hand-built to
order after you buy it. Typical build time is 3–5 weeks, sometimes
up to 6. We will never promise you a specific delivery date before your
building is built.
- Buying outright: 50% down to start the build, the
balance due on delivery.
- Rent-to-own: a deposit plus your first rent payment to
start the build.
- Because your building is built to your specifications, changes after
the build has started may not be possible, and may cost extra.
- Cancelling once your build has started costs a 15%
cancellation fee, worked out on the price of the building. Your
building is already being cut and put together for you by then, and it
is built to your size, doors and colors, so it isn’t something we
can simply sell to the next customer. The rest of what you have paid
comes back to you.
- We accept cash, check, and credit card. Heavily customized builds may
need to be paid outright rather than rent-to-own.
Rent-to-Own
Rent-to-own agreements are between you and the rent-to-own company, not
with us, and their agreement governs the terms. There is no credit check
and no penalty for paying it off early. Terms available are 36, 48, or 60
months. We do not quote monthly payment amounts on this website — ask
us and we’ll get you the figure for your building.
Delivery and Setup
- Delivery and setup are free within 50 miles of Port Charlotte,
FL. Beyond 50 miles it is $5 per mile, one way. 14-foot-wide
buildings carry an added permit and pilot-car fee.
- Buildings arrive fully assembled on a truck. The driver levels the
building on treated wood blocks and shims.
- Site access is your responsibility. We need about 4
feet of clearance on all sides and a clear path for a rig up to roughly 75
feet long and 15.6 feet tall — no low gates, power lines, or cable
lines in the way.
- Drivers cannot trim trees, clear brush, or move fences. Setting a
building more than 6 inches off the ground costs extra, and an unusually
difficult delivery can cost extra.
- If we arrive and the site cannot be reached or is not ready, a second
delivery attempt may be charged.
- Check the glass and the finish at delivery. Glass damage has to be
reported at delivery to be covered.
Site Prep, Permits, and Anchoring
- A level spot is best. If your ground isn’t level, have solid
concrete cap blocks on site. A limestone pad or a concrete slab works
beautifully too.
- Permits, setbacks, and anchoring are the customer’s
responsibility. Check with your local codes department and your
HOA before you order. We are not responsible for permits or for local
code requirements. However, we want to help you as much as we can to make
it as pleasant a process as possible.
- We will send you what you need to get your permit, including engineer
plans and master anchor plans.
Warranty
- Weather King provides a 5-year warranty on workmanship and
materials.
- The materials carry their own manufacturer warranties: a 40-year metal
roof, LP SmartSide siding (5-year 100% labor and replacement, plus 50-year
prorated), and a limited lifetime termite and decay warranty on
pressure-treated wood.
- Not covered: weather damage including wind, hail, and
flood; the contents of your building; normal wear; lost keys; glass not
reported at delivery; and customer-added modifications.
- Ramps, steps, and decks added by the customer void the
warranty on the affected area. Buy them from us and your warranty
stays intact.
- If a door or window sticks after the building settles, have the
leveling checked first — that is usually the cause.
- Minor knots or sap pockets in wood are normal for hand-built
buildings and are not defects.
Text Messages
We only text people who have contacted us or asked us to text them. You
will get messages about your building — your quote, a
picture of your design, and delivery. It is not a mailing list and there is
no marketing campaign.

- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We never sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your
consent to be texted with anybody.

This Website
The 3D designer, the photos, and the prices on this site are here to help
you work out what you want. Renders are drawings, not photographs —
colors on your screen will differ a little from the real panel, and small
details may vary on the finished building. Photos in the gallery are of real
buildings we have delivered and are examples, not the exact building you
will receive.
We try to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date. If you
spot something that looks wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
