Every base price for every size we sell is on our Styles & Prices page, and the numbers below are pulled straight from it (August 2026). They're what a Weather King building costs from Yoder Storage Barns in Port Charlotte, delivered and set up free within 50 miles.
The Utility Shed (tall 93-inch walls, gable roof) and the Lofted Barn (barn roof with a storage loft over each end) are the two most people end up choosing between. Here's how the price moves with size:

Rule of thumb: price per square foot falls as the building grows. An 8x8 utility shed is about $37 per square foot; a 12x32 is about $27. If you're on the fence between two sizes, the bigger one is almost always the better value per foot — just check your permit office's size breakpoints first (see the permit guide).

The base building comes with the doors and windows listed on its page (the Side Utility, Cottage Shed and Dormer Shed include two windows; cabins include a glass door and three windows; the Portable Garage includes a roll-up door, a walk-in door and a window). Everything else is an option, and the option prices are the same on every style:
Two more things to budget for: Florida sales tax on the purchase, and delivery past 50 miles at $5 per mile one way. Fourteen-foot-wide buildings add a pilot-car permit fee wherever they go. Your county's shed permit runs about $65–$100.

The metal buildings are the same frame with metal siding and a 40-year-warranty metal roof over OSB, so they cost about 10–15% more than the wood version of the same size. The trade is never painting it, which is why they're popular near the coast and on rental property.
