Unincorporated Hendry County (Port LaBelle, Montura, Pioneer, Harlem, Flaghole, Sky Valley)

• Hendry County Building & Licensing — LaBelle office at 640 S. Main Street (863-675-5245) and Clewiston office at 1100 Olympia Street (863-983-1463), Mon–Fri 8–5, permit@hendryfla.net, with online applications through BS&A Online. Owner-builders sign the application in person.
• The county's checklist has a block titled "Shed – Prefab Accessory Use Application": a site plan showing every existing structure and the distance from every property line to the shed, the building's square footage and any electric, and the State of Florida product approval or engineered plans with tie-down specifications (two sets if larger than 11x17 — one paper, one digital).
• Every application takes a $65 non-refundable fee, credited toward the permit when it's issued. The full fee schedule is a scanned document; the office quotes it by phone.
• A boundary survey with the flood zone marked is part of the accessory-use application; elevation certificates go through permit@hendryfla.net. No square-footage exemption for sheds is published.

City of LaBelle

• The city issues its own permits: Land Development Office / Building Department, 80 Euclid Place (863-675-0492). Its Accessory Use Building Permit application covers a "pre-engineer utility building," with a site plan (two copies) and a boundary survey showing easements and the flood designation.
• The city's adopted fee for a pre-engineered utility shed (no concrete) is $65, plus a plan-review fee of 30% of the base permit fee.

City of Clewiston

• Community Development, 863-983-1500, permitting@clewiston-fl.gov, issues permits inside the city limits only — Harlem, Sky Valley, Montura, Flaghole, Pioneer and Hookers Point go to the county offices above. "Shed; install" is on the city's list of work that needs a permit; fees are based on the value of the job.
• One recent city planning memo puts the accessory-structure setback on a residential lot at 7.5 ft from the side yard and 10 ft from the rear — confirm for your district.
