Lakewood Ranch is about 50 road miles from Port Charlotte, inside our free delivery and setup zone. Most addresses come in right at the line, so text us yours and we'll confirm the delivery cost — usually free, occasionally a few dollars over.
Lakewood Ranch is a different kind of shed job. Nearly every village has an association with an architectural review process, and some allow a shed only in a specific spot (one village's rules, for example, allow sheds only on a screened lanai). So the order of operations is: your village's modification form first, county permit second, delivery third. We're a family-run Weather King dealership (dealer #6851); every building is made to order, so the colors, trim and door style can match what the review board wants to see. The Cottage Shed, Dormer Shed and Cabin styles are the ones that get approved most.

Get the association's approval before the permit, not after. Bring the style photo, the color card and a sketch of where it sits; we'll send you all three. If your village's rules allow a shed only on a lanai or in a screened area, tell us the dimensions and we'll size the building to fit.
Permits, setbacks and anchoring are the homeowner's responsibility, but you won't be doing it blind — call or text us and we'll walk you through what your office wants.

It depends on the village. Some approve a matching shed in the back corner; some allow one only on a screened lanai; a few say no. Ask your association for its modification form first — we'll give you the style photo, color card and site sketch it wants.
Most of Lakewood Ranch is Manatee County, and the county's permit office is in Lakewood Ranch at 9000 Town Center Parkway. Waterside and the villages south of the county line are Sarasota County (870 Apex Road). Your property tax bill tells you which one you're in.
