Delivery and setup are free for the first 50 miles and $5 a mile after that, so figure roughly $190 for delivery — text us the address and we'll give you the exact number before you order. Moore Haven is about 72 miles, so about $110. We put the number in writing before you order, and on a barn or a garage it's a small share of the price.

The county's schedule lists a prefabricated residential accessory structure at $200, plus plan review at half the permit fee, a 5% technology fee and $10 issuance — a little over $300 all in. The city of Okeechobee and Glades County price theirs separately.
Okeechobee County wants the finished floor at least 18 inches above the crown of the road in front of the lot, and a surveyor's elevation certificate to prove it. Leveling blocks get a building part of the way there; on a low lot plan a pad. Tell us the situation and we'll size the blocks with the driver.
On agricultural parcels of five acres or more the county's two-building, house-size limit doesn't apply. Our biggest buildings are 14x40; they travel with a pilot car, which adds a permit fee for the trip.
